The progress in this series confuses me so much, I mean is supposedly an harem, despite the guy making things with the other 2 pretty clear, but now, the way he is comunicating with her is so...all over the place.

Well, it wasn't a direct marriage proposal and she was also not strictly friend-zoned so ... a Friend Proposal it is then. Also, is that like friends with benefits? Also also, is the childhood friend suggesting they share. Bless her heart. She can't win (as dictated by the manga Gods) so she'll try to get the let's share him outcome. But the real important question is ... can this guy even manage two (or possibly three) women? It depends on how the author writes him going forward.
