Why wouldn’t he chase after her? She says she doesn’t deserve to be happy and is clearly hurting and you just let her leave? What the actual fuck.

The protagonist was posed as someone mature, whose experience made him stoic, we are told this, we are told he knows the witch and the other companions.....but then the author keeps proving time and time again that he does not know how to actually write such character...........imagine a series set around an elite assassin but he lacks trigger discipline, doesn't keep the distance from a sniper rifle when shooting or consider recoil.....is starting to look like a smart character written by someone dumb.

So many writers that don't understand the consequences/implications of their own premises.

And apparently it's clear that this isn't her unlocking her previous memory, it's straight up just a possession.

We spent 10 chapters reading about this character and how she fits into the main cast, only for her to literally be replaced by a different character.
What a waste of time.

They switch depending of each she see a bird of prey or a regular bird. We are talking Japan so bird of preys are prob rare

what a stupid bs. The childhood friend who is kind and beautiful is casted aside all the time with a stupid question like "what do you mean" even if she clearly says she loves him. We all know that she has no chance because of that destined souls from the past bs but now on top she is possessed by a stupid dragon and she will lose even more of her personality? That mc moron can't even tell her "I'm interested or I'm not interested"? The author has really no talent at all for writing characters.
