...Yeah that might have been more impactful if this manga hadn't gone "Hey here's the witch, he's going to teach her love" > almost completely ignore her in favour introducing the rest of the oblitagory harem > "Okay she dies now"

If there's really only one chapter left on this thing, colour me not surprised. It wasn't a groundbreaking premise, but this thing had the twinkle of something that might be a fun read to start with, but... man, I kind of feel like I wasted my time already. I'm hoping the next chapter doesn't validate that feeling, though I'm no holding my breath

Yep, some Authors get told the axe is coming for their manga's head and try to wrap it up gracefully in the time they have, and some do... this, I guess. Spend most of their their last volume's worth of chapters pissing about, and then rush a conclusion in one or two chapters...
