The switching between full coherent sentences and the "broken" child-like way of speaking was a bit confusing to me at first, but the Web Novel does put "Infantile Regression" as a bad status condition, so that would explain it.

I am struggling a little bit finding the right balance between keeping the child-like way of speaking more like it is in Japanese while still making it readable enough as well as making sure it doesn't look like I'm making a bunch of typos. I feel like I toned it down enough to a point where it still managed to get the right message across while not being too distracting. Anyway, let me know what you think.

I'm surprised (s)he didn't mention "little girl power"; I assume its a minor charm ability, making people dote on her, but why is it an actual ability, and does it automatically evolve into "woman power" when she grows up? Or, will it stunt her growth forcing her to be a little girl, and thats what the abiltiy actually is?

So why didn't the village take the weird child, that appeared out of nowhere on a tree, to the presumably only magic user in the vicinity before now?

She's an elf, her growth is slow anyway

Personally as a reader, I would prefer ditching the child-like broken speech. It might reduce the accuracy but it will be more readable.
If you want to stay accurate or if it's relevant to the story like some characters having a hard time understanding her because of her broken speech (and to avoid getting flamed because readers might think you made a lot of typo), you can have the normal speech in parentheses after the broken speech. For example: Sowwy (Sorry).
Other alternative is to have the normal speech as an additional notes

"Infantile regression" huh? Not often these types of stories just directly say "yeah the reason the MC is acting their age is because their mind also literally regressed." I usually assume that's the implication even if not stated but having it laid out like this is nice.

Yeah i usually go with that assumption too, it doesn't really mater if you have the memories of a past life if the brain development isn't there yet.

I think what would keep the childlike tone whilst not making it harder to read would be to make her childlike noises during or after her sentences (like, weh, woo, yay or things like that).

also this doesnt feel very shoujo here lol
