I already knew it was bound for a polygamy, but I didn't expect it would be depicted as a rushed spur of a moment sponking, partially due to pittance - with somehow a significant/genuine care (probably because they were also childhood friends).
Dunno if they really planned to keep this manga adaptation short, but I can't help but think that the moment they released this chapter, the editor in charge of this probably thought, "Ah yes, glad we pulled the plug on this one".

When it showed Kuu naked in bed, I thought, "No shot he just slept with her before Lucie. No way he gave his virginity to her, instead. I sorely hope that this ends up being a chasing after two, and getting none sort of result. However, given the way these stories go and the harems that form, I won't be holding my breath on that. It's a breathtaking display of arrogance going to Kuu I'm going to have you as my mistress and I'm sure that Lucie won't mind if I have a harem even though we haven't done it yet. Plus the whole bonus stage of forcing the act on Kuu for "crawling into a man's bed" then having the gall to lie to Lucie right afterwards about why he smells like Kuu.

This is based on a visual novel? I'm assuming his line of "I promise to only love you and Lucie" is another lie, and his harem keeps getting bigger.

Lucie has been postponing giving him a clear answer for a long time now. She did once say she loves him, but she still wouldn't get into a romantic relationship. He made his feelings clear months, perhaps already half a year ago. After that, they have lived a life where they all could have died a number of times, which typically makes people feel like there's no time to waste. Things like the suspension bridge effect seem to not affect Lucie at all.

With all that, perhaps Cyril just couldn't keep his pants on anymore. It was a stupid thing to do, of course, since he still claims he loves Lucie. It would be a different thing if he was ready to let go of Lucie, since Lucie obviously months later remains full of hesitation about Cyril. Or perhaps Lucie simply isn't mature enough for any kind of romance yet. Doesn't really make a difference. He has been getting too frustrated to cope with it anymore.
