Why are people calling her milf instead of the more appropriate title: auntie?

is milf gonna get added to the list of terms that just lost any sort of meaning because of overuse?
sadly, yes. for many ppl nowadays milf means any attractive middle-aged woman regardless of her having children or not.
it's the same crap with ntr: bss or even any plain cheating scenario gets called as such. hell, sometimes ppl even use it for fucking harem romcoms that contain no cheating whatsoever.

ladies and gentlemen, we are finally back
Truly the best half-elf-fondling-focused manga in existence. :finnawoke:

On another note, I find it interesting that no one at school seems to have noticed Ei's ears, given that they stay in "half-elf mode" all the time, and have piercings besides.

Aren't there some unique plastic surgery trends in Asian countries? Like the donut forehead thingy, pretty sure fangs and/or "elf ears" could just be thought of as a unique fashion sense or something.

Probably, but given how conformist Japanese schools are in general, there's plenty of series where characters attend schools with rules against jewelry, piercings, blonde (or sometimes just non-black) hair, and above all, tattoos (e.g. Horimiya). I'd imagine "ear modification surgery" would at least draw curious onlookers and at worst, the wrath of faculty. :nyoron:

tl;dr: It's not that it's elves and magic-Masquerade breaking or anything, it's more that JPN schools tend to be nitpicky about looking different.

Which lead to the non-conformist stance most delinquents has. Which loops to my original comment that onlookers would probably just think it's a new fashion style or something, especially since Ei is pretty much a gyaru.

Well, that's not fully fair; MILF works for mothers and mature women old enough to be mothers for legal adults (aka, 36)...

Also, MILF is perspective... so if she's old enough to be HIS mom, then it's a MILF for him...

And even from the start in the early days of the internet, MILF was used for mature ladies, not just mothers...

It's like how the Nee-chan trope wasn't just for actual older sisters, but lightly older girls...

Also, it should be noted that NTR was really originally a term for cheating... then it got changed to stealing and kinda back again...

The problem is that language is fluid... and these were terms that didn't have straight definitions from the start... they were just concepts about ideas that people used in general ways... they weren't super specific....

who says this crap? when the japanese are thorough enough to create an entire new genre called BSS just to differentiate fake "stealing" (when the man and woman are not in a relationship cause the mc is too dumb/incompetent to confess) from actual stealing, then why would they use ntr as a catch-all term?? this shit makes no sense. it's just dumb children that don't speak any japanese and probably aren't old enough to read hentai anyway making random shit up and the rest of the english speaking manga community just rolls with it.

Because language itself is fluid

Yah, that Japanese are thorough because they actually made an industry out of it.... so they had financial reasons and a corporations to standardize things.

On the other hand, in the West, it was a bunch of different people who had no connection, might not speak the same language, and varied in age randomly using terms....

And nobody could standardize because nobody was really connected... and the terms ended up being more fluid in the West.

And by the time we had corporations and sh*t like that take over, it was kinda too late for standardization....

That said... it really isn't that big of a deal...

In place of having proper standardization, the websites instead use a lot of tags instead.... so it works out fine anyways....

And it can't be helped because they were terms made popular through the internet by too many people.

I don't understand why you are so offended, isn't it normal that words translated or loaned to our language.... and when it isn't standardized, it instead evolves...

But the truth is, we don't actually have a need for that standardization either.

The big companies did because they were selling actual products on the shelves... but we are reading for free on the net... we could add as many tags as we want without any trouble, actual stores can't do that....
