This author is obsessed with master-servant relationships and their consequences. It seems like he only paints them in a bad light, especially when it comes to the master, yet the demeanor of the servant almost always suggests a willingness to obey, if only their master wasn't so cruel. Well, to be honest, this dynamic applies to a good part of Japanese culture (especially when it comes to erotic media). But here, it really is the foundational stone of the story.
Also: "If I remain a coward and don’t take a step forward, there’s no way my dreams will ever come true." It would be nice if I applied that to myself for a change.

Then the audacity for this piece of shit to say "I wanna have a front row seat to your opera", as if just seeing him wouldn't be a reminder of all the times he hit her, made her cry and completely neglected her... And for the author to paint this as a positive thing. Stupid as hell.
