@owlette : yes, they're the best. I'm re-reading this story for the third time, and honestly it's one of the rare mangas where the "separation" arc between the main couple doesn't suck. It doesn't feel forced, and their new environment is interesting and flowing with interesting characters.
@NoraDaimio ahh thank you for reminding me of this manga. it is actually one of my all time favorites. i've re-read it 3 times myself, maybe i'll go for a fourth!

@NoraDaimio no problem lol. i have been reading Otoyomegatari as well and while it's a great series, it's just not quite up my alley. the big appeal of Emma for me was the setting. i adore the fact that the author chose such a unique setting for her new work but i can't quite get as invested. it is still very good though, and her art improved even more (it's honestly worth reading JUST for the art)
