@firefish5000 But they were talking about how now that Baldur has been chosen to be Finne's shield, the two of them will spend more time together and potentially be able to fall in love. If things go according to plan, then no one will get possessed by the witch and everyone will be happy. Granted, there's still the foreboding prediction back in chapter one that something horrible will happen and the "gods" will end up intervening to help save the day, so the witch might still find some way to ruin things.
Regarding who they are in control of, if I remember correctly they set the game on auto-pilot, which led to this situation, so from the very beginning they haven't been in control at all. As for who the perspective is from, it seems to be stuck on Lize now instead of Finne. It's possible they'll be able to switch between Lize, Finne, and Baldur at will, but it's uncertain if this is actually the case as we don't have enough information.
