The last Chinese character is 'finish'.
Well, such a sad long life... He didn't found the right state of mind.

This has got to be the most bullshit ending, it didn't even feel like an ending. What about the emperor or the strongest knight, or that dude's sister, or the different generals, or the eastern continent? This felt more like a season ending than a series ending, there's still so much left to be found, wtf?

@CrownlessClown2424 Of course it doesn't feel like an ending. This series has been aimless since a long time ago. To me it seems like the author wanted to cram every single thing he likes about stories on this one, then they wrote themselves into a corner and ended it in some way while bringing up irrelevant stuff. It's a shame because the author clearly has lots of ideas, they just need a decent editor to cut off the fat.

I feel like this is one of those stories that has so many great moments, but when looked at as a whole it loses a lot of its luster. The characters all pretty great. Nepheren was both hilarious and heart-breaking. Hadar managed to talk a lot of shit for a guy who can't talk. Gilgamesh/Ram was a pretty cool take on an immortal. Heck, Trudia was probably the worst character, and she wasn't even bad - she was just kind of stuck acting as a reason to keep the story moving. The power dynamics were also great. It was a real breath of fresh air for the immortal to be so inferior to all of the super talented mortals. Especially considering the number of god-mode isekai protaganists floating around today.

I actually really like this as an ending too, I just feel like the last few chapters didn't really build up to it well. I don't know the circumstances, but I feel like if they did one more story arc in between meeting "God" and the end, they could have wrapped up things so much better. They could have gotten the flashbacks out of the way before the last chapters, added one more exciting arc to keep the end from dragging, and resolved story lines for other characters. Like, for instance, did Hinsher not decide to go kill herself to save Trudia? What's the deal with the emperor? What happened after the general reported back to the Eastern Continent? Well, whatever. Good ideas, but the execution could use work. I would definitely read more from this author, they certainly have the potential to make something awesome.

Thanks for the translation.
I love it when the story ends with them writing the story.
