"I was surprised to hear that you've been imprisoned."
Yeah, no shit, so was I. When did that happen? Between chapter 46 and 47 offscreen?
Isn't that something you should show us?
@Elhao
I'm not against mangas skipping monotonous things so they can spend the panels on what matters. Still, if they have time for several cake-eating panels then they could have dropped a single panel showing the police confronting him.
@elhao@nazrinmaus I was also so lost as to why he is suddenly in prison so I skimmed thru the previous chapters. If you look closely on bottom of page 47 when they started talking and throughout page 48, you realize that its all the same dark background with a huge prison like door. They were in prison ever since they went back to town and they revealed it super late in a cliche'd movie manner imo.
@harvest@falconbuddy I know that as proven by my own post (p.s.: okay, I assumed it happened in between chapters when it actually happened in between pages of chapter 47 which imo is even worse but that doesn't change anything about my point), it still is something that should have been shown and not guessed from context. They don't even talk about what happened, how it happened or what he was charged with, except for some "violation of the financial law" (after talking in-depth about the financial relationship and specifics of Fullgold and R. Blade for most of the last chapter THIS is what the author thinks is so unimportant that it doesn't need to be elaborated on further?!)
I liked this so much but honestly my dumb pea brain can't find any of this financial discussion interesting.... and it's dragging on for so long... ;-; I am grateful for the chapter though! Thank you for your hard work
