Also, an electric attack like that should have also hurt Sheria.

it because manga abridged web novel too much. i am pretty sure the reason gilbert can't kill wyvern and almost give up because he can't both kill wywern and jump to save his daughter at the same momemtum.
she going to fall to death. that why leo need to fullfil the kill wywern part.

I checked the web novel chapter 26-27 and the manga actually changed A LOT.

First and foremost, Leold in webnovel was decisive, moved fast, and never thought about running away and abandoning Sheria.

There were three wyverns. Being a close fighter he is, Gilbert could only kill the wyvern one by one. While killing the first wyvern, the other two attacked the mansion. While killing the second one, the third one already broke the mansion's wall and took Sheria. Gilbert jumped to the third wyvern to kill it, but coincidentally the spooked wyvern placed Sheria in front of Gilbert's approaching punch. Gilbert pulled back his attack and fell back to the ground, and by then the wyvern was already too high for him to reach. He could only glare at the wyvern when Leold came and suddenly ordered him to get ready to catch Sheria. Leold then aimed his palm towards wyvern's head before unleashing his railgun-like lightning attack; piercing the wyvern's head and insta-killing it. Gilbert then intercepted Sheria's fall and brought her to the ground safely.

i feel like manga going to be f-ck up somehow. other than medicore art (tbf not that bad)
it feel like story lose so many detail.
i like web novel more.
but still going to look foward to this manga.
just really hope that the lose in detail didn't make the latter part of the story(where thing get wild and a lot more fun) worse.

It's a Japanism.

For the rank and file, the idea of "You don't get paid to think" applies in spades. Conformity, you know? You have your job, you do that job, and do not stray from the lines unless you have been instructed to do so.

The older generations have been trying to keep a cultural stranglehold on the populace... I remember that there was a US Army training video from WWII about the Japanese psyche that got unearthed a while back, and when it hit social media, the netizens of Japan were all like, "Oh my god, we haven't really changed much, have we?"

Fortunately, thanks to the Internet, more and more of the younger generation are twigging to this and do what they can to break out of the system the older generations maintain.
