Probably ! but I still want to know more about her before hating her, it's just that they can give them a good reason to do what they did. No way the prince would wait 2 years without getting married after all. and as FL said they probably won't let a wonded girl became queen. So depending on how the story goes I may "forgive" the sister.

looked up the novel bc i wanted to know whats up w the prince and the sister (it's MTL so some details may be wrong)
prince:
- fell in love with leila when they met after getting engaged as kids (11-12 i think), thought she was the most beautiful thing he'd ever seen
- still wanted to get married to her even when they told him she may never wake up (he was even thinking about giving up if she didnt wake up) but the engagement still got changed to the sister
- he feels nothing for leila's sister (doesnt pay attention to her, likes her voice but only bc it kinda sounds like leila's)
- got tricked by the leila's sister (after a ball he woke up next to her with a headache and didnt remember what happened. still no feelings for her)
- felt despair when leila woke up bc he cant get married to her, but felt better when he saw her smile
- yandere-lite > yandere? he wanted to be good friends with leila now that he cant marry her and only wanted her to be happy (but he was still kinda obsessed with her), but after she escapes, he feels betrayed and wants to keep her for himself (MTL: "...I should have done this from the beginning." Leila is mine. This is definitely the right path. Catch Leila before anyone else and keep it in a place where no one else can see it.)

leila's sister:
- spoiled, kinda entitled
- cries to get people to do what she wants: she didnt like getting a strict education so she played the victim ("i can't do as well as my sister anyway!") and they went easy on her ("my tears seem to be quite a weapon")
- jealous of the attention leila but recognizes that she is also deeply loved. shes uncomfortable with how perfect leila is. she liked to play the victim (their parents are strict with leila, so if the sister played the victim, they took her side). it became a habit and the sisters became estranged
- she thinks the prince is beautiful and thought he and leila looked perfect for each other, but she still tried to flirt with him. the prince rejected her but she didnt give up, bc she thought they didnt like each other
- she says something about being robbed of her own fiance and wanting to see how leila would look if it happened to her?? (the part about the sister's fiance is kinda confusing, sorry)
- horse accident was her fault but it went out of control, she wanted to hurt leila (the usual "she has a scar and cant go out in public" to get them to change the engagement) but not kill her. prince was screaming leila's name, the sister realized the prince loves leila and realized what she had done
- the engagement changed to her, but the prince seemed broken, without light in his eyes, staring at leila's picture
- felt frustrated and scared with the whole situation with leila
- liked to play around with guys but never slept with them, until things went to far with one of her knights and she got pregnant. decided to say it was the prince's (they were already engaged at this point) so she have him some pills and faked the whole thing (they didnt sleep together)
- the prince still ignored her and she felt even more resentful towards leila
- actually, lots of mixed feelings towards leila (happiness bc the sister wants to see leila's face when she finds out, guilt it's her fault that leila looks so thin and weak still with the bruise from the horse, hate bc the prince is her [the sister's] first love and he still loves leila, irritation bc instead of getting upset (which is what the sister wanted), leila smiled at her)
- decides not to get involved with leila in the future. the sister hates her but wants her to find someone, get back in the social circles and be happy away from her
- when she finds out leila escaped, the sister looked for her in monasteries but couldnt find her
- she wanted to find her bc she doesnt believe leila can survive on her own ("my sister, a genuine daughter, cannot earn money and live alone. then the only possibility left was to be kidnapped or to die somewhere.")
- she regrets everything she did and cries for real (more bits from this part bc i thought it was interesting
"always do I don't realize the meaning of my actions until it's too late. yeah, my sister may have died alone somewhere. imagine the body of my sister being hit by the rain, and for some reason, i felt that the inner part of my chest had a slight pain [...] when I think about it, i had wondered how refreshing I would be when my sister disappeared, but I never thought she would die [...] ……i know it. it's all my fault, too [...] well, without me, my sister should have been laughing next to his highness. knew that every time something happened, I knew of the crime I had committed, but I finally realized how heavy it was because my sister was gone. i was the one who made my sister unhappy and made me sick for the first love I love and love. i didn't really want to cause this. sorry, i didnt notice i wrote so much about the sister sjhdk i just thought
her conflicting feelings towards leila
were pretty interesting. i'll try to check if i can get anything else about the prince or something else
so all in all im actually interested on what's gonna happen next! it's nice to see they're not just flat "perfect/serious prince" or "white lotus sister" and they actually seem to have some more depth, we'll see how it turns out

From the moment I became aware of it, I wore the education of a queen as a princess of the future. I've learned more about the history, geography, economy and language of friendly countries than the novels I want to read. I've been trying to make a perfect dance until my heels peel. I've been paying attention many times more than people, by conditioning the skin and shining the hair so that I can't laugh at the plain features.
It reminds me of the sweet smile and blue eyes that His Highness Prince occasionally showed. Even if I wasn't loved the most, I thought I would be happy just to be by my side.
Even that doesn't come true anymore. Everything was wasted.
she spent her whole life preparing to be the queen: strict parents, strict training, strict studies, working hard to be a good daughter and future queen, not to mention she actually loved the prince. and then she suddenly lost everything she worked for and there's no way she can get it back (kinda like eliana from i was told to relinquish my fiance to my little sister but with less shitty parents)
she gets mad at her parents, says how it would've been better if she hadnt woken up and although she tries to disguise it, she feels like disgusted when the sister and the prince go to see her together and the sister starts talking about the baby 🙄 ("i just endured as i listened to the farce that went on overhead. really, I'm about to vomit") when the prince says he'll visit soon, she thinks "please do not come again"
she just literally cant stand being there anymore, so she runs away
Lol.. the spoilers make me hate everyone in this series. I have more question, you said that the little sister would regret what she did. Will she confess to everyone, hers wrong doing especially how her kid is not prince's kid?
I hate it when someone regrets what they do but they just cry and do nothing to make the situation better.
@Paradoxicull, Ohh, true true. But if that's so, he's stupid imo and brought it upon himself. There were other ways to help the sister. It wouldn't be a healthy life for either them or the child, so... Dumb prince.
Rose never regrets it, after the baby born and doesn't have the dominant features of the royal family, the prince tortures?(not sure, but it's implied) and imprisons her. The baby is given away, and both mother and child are declared dead. (no execution on camera)
The last we see of rose she is saying how much she hates Layla.
Layla also manages to have a conversation with the Duke, lets him know about all of rose's crimes, he blames his wife 😯
she raised Layla too strictly and didn't oversee rose at all. From Layla's pov she was tortured with lessons and Rose could get whatever she wants by being a crying white lotus.
chapters 48 and 49 are where the scene is in the novel The MTL is hard

I don't even know one of the stories that my father and mother got used to, but if you look at the father like this, you can understand it. He says that he has a very deep affection for his mother.

I already don't like the Prince. Even if the baby isn't his (which for their era most likely can't be proven) I would still not like him. And just wait there might be shit were the baby looks nothing like the royals (whick I heard from other comments) then gets killed in secret or just abondened most likely. When that scene happens I'll be cursing the prince and wish that he would go die in a fire cause either way he must have had sex with her sister since he didn't say anything about the baby not being his. Disgusting bastard.
