Thanks for this, pretty amazing to see Highlander literally solve everything with an attack he refused to use until the last moment and awaken his inner dragoon to rescue the dark hunter who looked surprisingly good looking when she was in danger of falling to her death.
Still, very much hating the whole mask guy and Simon thing.
At least I can blame Arthur for being too fucking stupid to explain the sequence of events to MurderMask for years.
Even though it's also Simon's fault if ANYONE told him that he tried to send help before he passed out.
When I saw the [end] tag I was pretty hopeful that highlander solved the entire mask guy situation with murder, we can't have everything in life.
Thank you for reading.
Edgar was such a hater and very extra at the end, the entire time I thought it was somehow going to reveal that Gotham exploding was somehow Simon's part. Nope he was just hating on a guy because he assumed he left him to die, while understandable wasn't going to guarantee that his fiancée would have been found in time.
And they knew each other enough after the disaster for Edgar to be a complete hater but the same goes for Simon wimping on telling him his side of the story. Then again with the way Carrol had that weird Highlander comment at the end Kimura probably thought he was going to have more chapters and would have probably showed them interacting after Gotham, maybe even had a redemption arc for him idk, I'm just speculating.
Has for Arthur being stupid, the only reason he probably didn't tell him earlier is most likely due to Simon not letting him and he wasn't fed up enough to say it himself, remember the only reason Arthur did tell him now was because this was the second time Edgar tried to get them killed and he brought up the Gotham incident himself this time around.
