@Siikalahna you know, considering every rat and bird in this city could be an agent for the emperor, you'd think he'd be better able to track down the proof of corruption and such. You know, instead of two obviously "incognito" nobles wandering around and trying to get nosy.

The part when they were consuming drugs was hard. Obviously, nobody would want to be with that dirty pig (sorry little piggies, I didn't find a better word to call him), I'm really waiting for a painful and horrible death for him; seriously, I thought I couldn't feel more disgusted by this scumbag but he proved me wrong. :l
I have to admit that I got scared when I saw him getting close to her friend wtf. This whole chapter was super disturbing and triggering. Seeing all this, I think it'd be cool if in the future they can release a new version of this story. I feel the characters are well thought and have great potential, the storyline events are interesting, but the pacing and the narrative quality are not flowing smoothly, so at times it doesn't show its true potential. This could have been made better (I do admit it), but I do appreciate the foundation of narrative structure and more. Maybe working with a more experienced artist or coming back to work on the script can make this much clearer and helps a lot with the quality of the final product, but in general, I'm enjoying it, ty guys. <3

Geez, I'm so tired of people writing how much they dislike this story. If u don't like it JUST LEAVE, nobody forces u to read something u don't enjoy. The translators are giving their utmost effort to share stories with us and I can't imagine how bad it must feel to see these types of comments. Also, even if u dislike some aspects of the story u can be nice while sharing your opinion, *sigh* really. :/

://///// this manhwa is so edgy and poorly executed, i think the story is bad when i worry more about a secondary character rather than the mc.. like this woman felt betrayed by her fiancee, is powerless, has to look after a child, and now is receiving life long trauma just so that the main characters appear cool and epic

@AiriAi and others like them: grow up. Learn how to cope with your favourite/liked/whatever works being criticised. I understand being mad at peeps who yell all the time about how MC is stupid 'coz they doesn't understand or notice every little thing, but criticism of a one dimensional, boring character is valid.
And, well. Can we stop with "bad dude is bad 'coz he rapes" all the time? Using a very real thing that happened and happens to lots of people, that is fucking traumatising and throws people into depths of despair; using it as a plot device, to show how a character is oh so strong 'coz they got over it quickly or how another is so cool and a hero 'coz they saved them... it's not right. And, if you have to, then throw in a content warning ffs (tbh this is both to authors and groups translating works like that. Inb4 someone goes "oh but it was obvious and implied, you should know better!" - no, a scene where a character is nearly raped/raped was not implied and there was no need to show it. Stick a content warning on it.)
Implications in earlier chapters, ba, they're nearly shouting out loud about that, were quite enough. No need for a scene of the bad guy harming a character. Frankly, even showing those poor drugged up women was not needed. We know he's the bad guy, we already know he's a rapist and a corrupt piece of shit. That's enough.
I kinda had hopes for this one, 'coz MC seemed strong and capable and I'm a sucker for her shoulder-length hair self, but here she still needs a man to help her (who is, btw, a very incompetent ruler and a low-key genocidal piece of shit who "has to unify" the whole continent. Imperialistic scum.)
