This manwha just feels like a fach's wet dream. "A man who finally knows all murderers should be executed on the spot and that trials and imprisionment will just cause bigger problem later on; that all murderers are unrepentant psychos who want nothing more than to kill again."
Not to mention how terrifying the idea that someone in a prision could get their sentence changed to execution just for being there doing a bad riot.

Truly the worst power fantasy one can have lmao

The Soviets, Nazis, North Koreans, South Koreans, Japanese, Chinese, Eritreans, Turkmenis, Canadians, Americans, Europeans, Africans, Australians, and just about everyone else these days have operated or now operate on an "all people are guilty, we just haven't caught you yet" premise. It's a premise I vehemently oppose, and it doesn't belong to solely to Fascists. All major ideologies have trended this way - Fascism of course, but also Socialism, Liberalism, Progressivism, Post-Modernism, Neo-anything, and everything else. All the aforementioned ideologies fall under the umbrella of Marxism or its surrogates, by the way.

But, out here in the real world, bad guys belong in prison or dead, and good guys need to defend themselves with force, lethal if necessary. Executions after the fact ought to never happen, simply because no criminal ought to survive the commission of a crime that directly causes grievous bodily harm or death to an innocent. Trust and believe, I will turn any motherfucker into swiss cheese if I see them do that shit, before they finish. That's not up for debate.

The problem is two-fold in terms of capital punishment. Capital punishment as a result of authority is murder by decree, and justice is a long, arduous process that doesn't always get the right answers. That doesn't mean bad people don't exist or that we should practice "restorative justice" or any such nonsense. Make a determination as to what your values and taboos are as an individual and a society, decide how you will live those values and how you will deter those taboos.

"Justice" and "fairness" are not always values in some societies, for example. In fact they may even be taboos in a few. Like with the aforementioned Marxists - they despise the concepts of objectivism and equality, opting instead for "equity", a subjective measure of worth and "privelege" based on... who the hell knows? It changes every day according to the whims of a chosen few, and the value of all considered factors changes so often that it's impossible to keep track.

More egregious examples exist in pre-civilization tribes. Human sacrifice, to include children, was remarkably common. It is neither just nor fair that a newborn must be killed to appease the tribe or a god or a leader. But to those cultures that practice it, it may be viewed as a generous mercy of whatever authority they deem fit. After all, what's the price of a newborn (who has less than a 30-40% chance of making it to adulthood anyway, in those times) when compared to the fate of an entire village, city, or empire? The fact that it likely did nothing to improve circumstances is an unfortunate discovery, one I suspect that the executioners and priests of the time knew about. But, I digress.

Slavery as an institution was only abolished recently, and primarily in western nations, where circumstance, culture, and technology align. Thousands and tens of thousands of years of ropes and chains have burdened the wrists and ankles of millions upon millions of humans. It still exists and thrives in several parts of the world. Yet, the dirty truth is that prosperous societies need free or cheap labor to maintain that prosperity, whether it's local enslavement (the "slave trade") or economic enslavement (cheap, foreign labor, foreign production). The dirtier truth is that we still need it. It's a blessing and a curse that robots will be doing that labor for us, at least until they wipe us out. So no more human slavery, but no more humans either. Damned if you do, damned if you don't!

All that to say, I'm not worried about a bunch of mass murderers, rapists, and pedophiles being slaughtered. The manwha's not spectacular, but it's got eyecandy in terms of art and effects. I suspect there'll be actual fighting at some point in the lower levels. The setup is important. It's just that this time the exposition is written in blood.

This art is AWESOME! And the story is only an excuse for fights. It's a perfect "fast food" webtoon.
