.... mainly.... I really, really like the artwork here, especially depicting the Power as some grotesque entity, the shot of Purgatory being constantly watched by an all seeing eye... I guess I'm just a sucker for these sort of religious themes and motifs. Very cool stuff.
The rest of it was... my main problem with the relationship was that it wasn't very convincing. I didn't really feel any sort of deep and abiding friendship or anything else between Emily and Yuna, just a one sided thing propped up by a little dress up montage, "oh you're cute, blah blah." I guess it was one of those things that really needed more showing than telling. You'd think 116 pages would be enough for both.
I'm a little disappointed in that aspect, but otherwise I thought it an intriguing read.

You can't really have a story in any meaningful sense when one character is the literal omnipotent, omniscient Judeo-Christian God.

The art is great and I really like the religious motifs but the story doesn't really impress me, especially the second part. It just feels a bit too over the top with everything going on. As someone else already said, the romance is unbelievable, at least for the readers.
Because there was no romance. It's just friendship between two lonely girls.
Besides, this is just two chapters long. It's impossible to develop a super deep relationship in such short time. One gotta learn to manage expectations when reading one-shots and short stories.

the friendship was not developed enough, and the plot structure of "heaven bad actually" is overdone... in general the story felt too long, and too short at the same time. Good art, though all but the angels felt a bit generic.
