I have good news, the series is performing well. It ranks in top 50% of Weekly Jump regularly, and it got color page with this very chapter, which is something Jump only gives to series they have hopes for, and continue to support for at the very least 3 more months. (unlike "Hakutaku" which got none, past it's 2nd chapter.)

There are 2 most likely reasons why we are doing Black Parade already:

• As a precaution, in case it would eventually get axed, so it could end on a good note as a complete story.
• Or maybe like it was with Sakamoto Days, japanese fans are more interested in action aspects of the series, therefore the slice of life comedy stuff is getting sidelined. And so, right after short training, we are jumping right into action. (It makes sense since it's popularity peaked during Asuta Roth vs Kiyoshi)
