It doesn't since its been literally hundreds of years BUT the fact remains that he was way too naive about her true nature up until now. Hearing it is different than seeing it first hand from the comfort of the chair. Him questioning her age at the start is also a clue to him starting to question who and what Imuri really is. Willful ignorance can only take you so far. Forgiving someone first requires you to know everything about them first. Which was something he was missing until now.

Imuri is lucky that Lisa doesn't have the power to show what she was up to (internally) when Asmo was trying to rape Josh and how she pretty much let it all happen and only started to act when he lost it and endangered her mission as well.

The only reason you can call this "grooming" is that Imuri has tits, if instead she was your standard "500 year old loli" ya'll would be saying that Josh was the predator because "that's a child!"

She's an "eternal teenager" not "eternal adult that looks like a teen", the only thing here that Josh is upset about is the idea that Imuri might just move on from him like she did with her other lovers because she's immortal (and won't age) and he isn't.

Did I miss something? Is she more than two years older than him? Because, if not: regardless of her machinations and the execution thereof, she put herself in a position where he had known and material leverage over her rather than the other way around. She never put him in a situation where he would have to rely on her (well, she didn't plan taking a mortal blow for him, prompting him to descend to Hell to heal her, which contributed to the waning of his powers and his informal defection from the Church's forces-- and even then, he's the breadwinner... in all applicable senses ).

Not every toxic relationship dynamic is "grooming", and it isn't "grooming" just because they weren't born on the exact same day, month, and year.
