Was that in the LN? Because the only declared D-rank in this chapter was the girl, Felix.

Pretty confusing when female characters are given male names though. Feminine equivalent should be Felicia, or Felicity.

Kinda strange way to start the first chapter. While we don't need to beat around the bush forever with how powers are analyzed in the world, the fact this guy can summon a flying "lizard" seems like something that would be useful.

Also, how is a courier something to be looked down upon? Unless they are incredibly commonplace or magic just let's them do it, a guy capable of quickly flying messages around seems invaluable, especially during a war.

But why is the girl famous? they act like she is the only E-rank in that town. Is she and just skip/forgot that line?
