feel like she should of been able to easily killed those bandits with her blade arms
She was caught off-guard like shown in the previous chapter, as she got ambushed while helping someone (the person she was helping was the trap itself), and got the Slave Collar put on her. While she did manage to escape immediately, but it was too late as the slave collar basically robs the person of their free-will and control over their own body.

I mean, bro could have just let her apply it herself but okay.
But not on her back, at least not well, which is what we saw him doing. Though I agree that there should have been a throw away line where he tells her to do the front/rest herself.
MC being a orphan and mercenary for his whole life, doesn't really know how to handle woman properly is normal situation.
He only knows how to handle them in mercenary-like ways, like in battlefield were stuff like "shame" or "things not to do to a women" doesn't matter, only keeping someone alive or treating them quickly matters.

On a side note, in LN (MTL translation), he was more invasive than what was in the Manga, when it came to applying the medication.

You got pomades that heal bruises and cuts completely within a day, but you don't have plastic surgery good enough to give you a new face? Unless he wanted that cyborg head because it boosts his combat power.
Its mentioned in the LN, that its not just his face, but even half of his skull and even his brain was damaged (mentioned in previous chapter as well), which is why MC seems to regularly complain about doing stuff that others would frown upon or won't do at all.
Whatever remaining part of his brain which had survived and is working has apparently been stuffed inside his cyborg head along with a cyborg brain to handle stuff which the remain part couldn't handle.

Yay rescue.
He did say at the end of ch. 1 he had an ulterior motive :02:

Gotta be a respectable pervert.

...okay the guy still has the tact of a drunk, dancing elephant in an Amazon warehouse but he is at least trying. Made it clear he would also let her leave.
Makes sense a 30 year mercenary is a straight shooter. He has his own selfish intentions, but he's not going to force them on anyone and has basic respect and decency.

(and hey, any excuse to strip a nun is a win-win)

Yeah baby chapter 2!

I love that Glen is up front. Sure he's a nice guy, but he's honest with the fact that he's also hoping Erika falls for him. There's no insecurity or shyness to him Glen is just Glen.

Also, mantis limbs? The author has spoiled us.

I was wondering why I found this story so familiar. It's literally Space Merc Isekai's author doing it from a different angle. Seems to be within the same universe of Stella Online.
Same universe as Space Mercenary, different section of space by a long shot.

This won't spoil anything, but the world building is as such:
There are "upper" and "lower" parallel universes. One day, a space kingdom from a lower universe basically broke reality and nearly ended all universes, but with help from the equivalent of eldritch gods/creatures, they fixed the universe... mostly.

There are weak spots still, and those weak spots are what cause bleed through between universes, causing isekai things to happen.

Or, I suspect, game devs in various other universes to glimpse part of a sci-fi universe and build various games around it. That game then probably becomes something like a gateway that sometimes gives players the full experience. I think.
