Author is addressing the argument: Don't hate because hate is a negative emotion that will hurt you.

Sword of Courage avoids that by not hating, instead they just view it like a game of "whack a mole". Someone from today might do something like make TikTok videos of dressing up in their victim's clothing or clowning around in their bed. No need for hate if you're just wiping out cockroaches and making jokes about it.

Maybe the author will deliver a good explanation as to why they are that deranged but I somehow doubt it since it's not the first time.
