What is Mashima doing with his work these days ? There has been so many "copy and paste" elements that it's getting ridiculous.
In fact, can we be sure this is a spin-off ? Is there any point in calling it "Fairy Tail" still ?

I mean, Edens Zero is no different in that sense either lol there's a lot of One Piece and other adventure series/genre tropes and stuff in it too.

Must be because he's storyboarding this and writing EZ and he's running himself ragged with the ideas, or lack there of. I mean shit, when it was just FT, it was already annoyingly cheap with its "creative" ways to win with Nakama Power/Power of Friendship (or the classic "beCaUsE sHe'Z ERZAAAAAA") lmfao and its even kinda all over EZ, but at least it's not being used as the actual reason they win their fights like FT and has mostly stayed relegated to only to Shiki's personality and out-of-combat gag emotions and quirks haha

Minerva really wanted to see Jellal and Erza getting close, but alas, the Signario Sisters have arrived. Reality warping being alchemy is a bit interesting. What can't they do with that power? There has to be a weakness to it.
