Fandom Police is Getting Annoying.

So I am actually getting tired being accused by fandom police. Yeah, I like several young characters in manga and anime, but I'm not going to bone with young people in real life. I only like 2D chara 😭😂
And it's ALWAYS young people in fandom. What is wrong with them nowadays? They so insist for others not to like what they don't like.

Guess which website I'm talking about? It's twitter.
I want to delete (or log off) from twitter, but it's so hard to find artist that draw specific characters or getting news about anime and manga or games. I only found it on twitter.
A recommendation of similar website is appreciated because I'm sick of that app, but don't have alternative.

I don't follow anime/manga artists or news accounts on twitter just to avoid that type of drama. I sometimes check MAL's news section to see what's going on in the anime/manga industry and I follow artists on pixiv. idk if this helps your needs.

The only reason to use twitter is to follow (hentai) artist and love-ing their artworks.
Western (mainstream) Twitter is such a shithole beyond belief the only appropriate thing to do is to not interact with them in any way, shape or form.
If they got plagued by them then simply dont read the replies (let alone making one) and just heart-ing them.
Any site/forum/group that's touched by the western thought-police normies will end up like this.

ignore twitter and use pixiv to search for artworks... a lot of artists post the works both on pixiv and twitter, so generally speaking you should have no problem looking up even minor characters or couplings...

I feel you. I only follow for the artist since it's soo hard to find fanart of less popular character. But maaan, the anti get everywhere recently.

I don't follow anime news often, but surely there must dedicated manga/anime websites out there that constantly update news, no? Or if you just follow Japanese artists, then you shouldn't run into many western internet police. Hell, can't deny that pixiv has much more artworks than twitter. Something wrong with your search filter, maybe?

I thought Kamiya was crazy when he blocked people who talk to him in English. Now I totally see why it makes sense.

Nevertheless, running into anime haters is common and you just learn to block them.

Certain western countries like America are incredibly prudish. Even if you say you like 2D only, they won't care because anything slightly out of the norm makes them uncomfortable. I live in America, so I've seen first hand how people treat the medium.

Fetishes are also a big taboo here as well. Americans tend to treat people who have them like a bunch of freaks. Even worse if it's a more extreme type like rape or vore. Those poor souls are looked at like they should be on some sort of list.

And it really all comes down to a lack of education on the subject. Most people simply aren't taught about any kind of sex stuff outside of the norm.

So, if you live in the west, your not alone. The west sucks.

As for vore I take the same stance as I do religion I don’t care about it I’m just gonna open the door look confused and then leave and try to forget it. I mean, people are wounded, killed, and murdered in real life, so it's a disturbing problem if folks find it interesting as a part of a fictional story. Sorry, I gotta disagree. There are many men and women who have fetishes about raping or being raped, and it's completely mentally healthy. Both men and women have them, but mostly women. 50% - 70% (depending on the source) of women have said they have fantasies about being raped or sexually assaulted. They're far more common then you'd think. And adults generally can tell the difference between fantasy and reality. Ya gotta let people have their kinks. They have the right to enjoy what they want to in their own bedrooms.

Also, from what I understand at least, it's another form of dominance/submission similarly to BDSM.

Edit: actually the guy above makes a good point. People love doing drive by's and going on killing sprees in Grand Theft Auto, but would never do it in real life. One double standard that America has is that we're ok with excessive violence, but super squeamish when it comes to sexual stuff, which goes back to my "Americans are prudes" statement.

That what I've been doing, but the damn fanpol found their way. I've been following specific people too and unfollow people (even artist) just to avoid their retweet. Yesterday just the darn last straw lol.

just create a whole new account ma dudes, twitter don't have tag system like pixiv does and if you want to see certain character lewd just go to booru site or chan sakaku and search it every once in a while.
also SadPanda have two account that spam some artist whole artworks on pixiv or other site everyday.

You know maybe I should really take a huge step back on my view of sexual content soon. Look just please understand it’s something that is a tad personal for me and it’s kinda a touchy topic. I’m sorry it’s just a bit of a button for me. I still feel weirded out about non consensual anything. I honestly feel it should always be approached with a certain level of respect if the media is in any way serious. I also has some level of squeamishness so uh yeah for some reason I’m fine with meat moss and body horror but not murder scenes.
