i read and lot of manhwa's and you're welcome to check out my manhwa and reading manhwa lists on at http//:www.youtube.com/pewpewdeadsushi [there are nearly 3000 in each...

my post is not click bait, I legit wished that the manhwa's on this website had up to date content instead of so many titles either not having any content or only having the first 3 or 4 chapters when a series has a lot of released content... it annoys me when so many characters are missing, why bother with a website that isn't up to date with their content?

My dog isn't for sale, he's precious and irreplaceable. He is sweet, loves everyone and is happy when others are happy.... at least he's got a way better character than all 3 of the "quoted" comments on this reply because all you guys can do is diss people or try and drag people down for no reason. It's kind of pathetic to be trolls... BTW, that is my real face, not edited... so say what you want, it doesn't matter to me. I'm cute and my dog is lovable either way

Because MangaDex isn't aggregating everything from everywhere without regard for any takedown notices. MD relies on scanlation groups to upload their own works (or, in lieu of that, someone else to perform that task). MD allows those same groups to remove their chapters if they decide to do so. And MD isn't constantly under threat of takedown (or actually being taken down) like aggregator sites.

You may be aware that ReaperScans was nuked recently - you'll note that none of their chapters are now present here. This is by design - it means the publishers won't be coming after MD. Same goes for a lot of other groups that have gone through similar circumstances - you won't find them here. Can you find these chapters elsewhere? Sure. Will that elsewhere be the same site in a year? Maybe... maybe not.

Unlike Webtoon, there’s no full‑time staff churning out chapters on a fixed schedule, so new releases depend entirely on each group’s availability. If MangaDex started aggregating content, the site would’ve been shut down years ago, and many popular series wouldn’t be available due to DMCA takedowns by publishers. In the case of manhwa, NAVER has long been notorious for issuing cease‑and‑desist orders. There’s not much MangaDex can do in this situation. If the ads are bothering you, just use an ad blocker on an aggregator site, it should make your reading experience much nicer.
