MC doesn't need to sweat the details since he's plot-protected. If he needs it done, it will be done regardless of logic. The author simply depends on the audience not knowing all of the plot-holes before the plot has advanced past the plot-hole problem and the audience is being distracted by something else and thus forgets about all the past plot-holes.
