I agree with the they/them stuff, Tachibana and Jinguuji have been nothing but conflicted with Tachi's gender the whole story. It's a gender swap story for a reason.yeah please keep that to yourself. no need to bring politics into a manga comments section. thanks. also you're blatantly wrong
the japanese raw was using ungendered pronouns so we kept them neutral
edit: mix into the fact that Tachibana's gender has been in question to Jinguuji after coming to terms with his feelings and its a bit different
according to someone from the r/manga comments whose memory is probably better than mine,
it could also be referring to her previous life, which Akito (Mori) may or may not know about idk
all of the heroes are reincarnates, incl. Tachibana
to find Tachibana's underwear and keys
I definitely say it's a symbol of Jinguuji beginning to recognize that while Tachibana is a girl now, they're still his Childhood BFF and his respect for them has only grown stronger now that he needs to protect them.
I'm still rooting for a romance to blossom, but if they keep the "bromance" route, I can't complain as both are equally compelling and make sense as far as their character tropes have shown so far.
