Fantasy/Isekai Manga where the mc actually faces competent adversaries

So we all know many isekai and fantasy mcs have plot armor to the max and any loss they have is temporary or insignificant. You all know the dumb trope, theres some Fill in the blank ist buzzword-filled villian that has power or strength but does nothing with it to hamper the mc. What are some Manga, Manhwa, and Manhua where the enemies are serious threats that aren't trivialized or complete bufoons? ones where they could very well challenge or outright disprove the mc's morality, power or infallibility through their own power and/or intelligence?

Those MC's are usually found in shonen categories right?
So I suggest you start your find there
