But honestly, I am not getting my hopes up that this will go on for much longer from what I see, this looks like a climatic final battle arc even in the raws.

Ah. The classic "turns out the setting was secretly post-apocalyptic" twist.

I'm never opposed to it, though I do think it's sometimes used as a kind of crutch to try to make a setting more interesting.

Uncertain of how far along we are. I suppose I could see this being the last arc, but I could also see it only be like halfway through. Suppose we'll see.

This continues to be very God Eater pilled, and I don't mind that. Love God Eater and it doesn't seem to get new games, so having this is nice.

Indeed, I have nothing else to add, thought it might've dodged the axe, but it doesn't seem to be the case, feels like it's rushing to end climatically on a high note.

A shame if it's so, it has fantastic art, good characters, a nice premise and I'd say at least decent pacing, but it didn't catch on.

I've seen way too many of the "ancient worlds turning out to be post-apocalyptic worlds" genre now. Like c'mon why not have it just be something else not birthed from human tech??
