I am always baffled by how the Japanese just insert their culture like that without finding it weird at all. Imagine a hunter-gathered story, where all of a sudden the MC starts eating Borscht like it's no big deal.

well because I still find some new stuff that at least try to say it in a more interesting way, again I am not saying it is bad, just that for anybody that has read some story (not even manga at this point) well this is certainly not fresh in anyway, that fine but also kinda boring for me at that point

And I encourage you to search a little more you can find a lot of interesting read if you put some effort in or just are able to omit some other flaw (again not again a flawed story just I have better thing to do that rerererererereread the same story I already rererererereread)

I’ve done quite the amount of critical reading which has allowed me to reach the conclusion of what I had previously

btw I am not personally so sure about the axe, a lot of popular stuff did not bring anything to the table and wild generic this seems to be competently made so I can see it have a big enough audience to actually finish, now Shonen are crowed so you need a little luck to be picked out but some people like reading the same trope again told in a different setup
