Sometimes, it feels like there's no actual story -- the MC has no real ambitions other than "to rest", and neither does she have any real goals, other than "to rest". The world pushes her to act in exciting ways, but overall, it's very easy to go: "Okay but where is any of this even going...?"
Essentially, the MC hard carries the entire story with spunk alone, but with no real goals. She has explosive personality, and an intriguing powerup to go with it. But other than that, the world feels very empty, almost dead.
All we know, is that there are Hunters, and there are Coordinators, and Chimeras.
Other than that, there might as well be a complete void.
The story adds some details as it progresses, but that just makes it feel like the author is making stuff up, and has nothing particular in one. It feels very apropos about its world building...

I don't know. It has both massive potential feels to it, as well as massive axe-potential too, as someone said.
This is a weird one, in both the bad and good way, kek.

This is a cliche typical action shonen manga you don’t hate. It has everything in the formula but the execution is better than many. From the introduction to the world, to the characters, and the pacing, they’re done well.

Just don’t expect it to be unique memorable experience and it will be just fine.

everything's fine until i realize the "problem solving" is seriously lame ass

1. got huge prize from salamander
2. house got destroyed
3. magically lost all the prize she just got that could rebuild her house
4. then decided to become someone's underling rather than just rent out a room for few days, go hunt a lot, get a lot of money then rebuild the house
5. cringy shitty idealist character (that old fart) appear decided to kill FMC and then decided to let her go, very cliche
6. then the FMC somehow accept his reasoning and decided to forgive him. BRRROOOO he was trying to kill you, your mate and may become actual enemy in the future, go kill that shitty old fart, you have chimera power and immortal.

Spoiler: Chapter one spoiler and my reasons it's bad

First half of chapter one we see a crazy strong and cool mc. After page 27 of chapter one, what she cherishes the most gets crushed just like that and mc is so helpless she can't do a thing.
Making a character strong just to show them to their weakest like it didn't even matter and it was all a joke, all that in the beggining of chapter one... I can't trust author isn't going to crush my fleeting happiness at any random moment after this.
