I'm not pretty much into making theories, but I feel like Illya's influence was hammered into Pandora, other theories in here are also something I am thinking as well, but mainly I just feel like Pandora was able to give such a persona because Illya befriended her in the past and that molded Pandora to what she is now in here.

If she was erased, I fail to see how characters remember her. A few chapters ago Beatrice remembered Ilya's name after she left the current world, and all the other characters began to as well. Its possible that is because Ilya managed to re-implement herself into this world at that point due to fusing with Pandora (or something of that nature). It would explain why characters remember her even though she technically shouldn't exist.

She's in that other world and we just saw her in the last chapter. Those two worlds are connected. So I don't think it's accurate to say she's "erased" from the universe.
