@Furvus considering that nothing is alive anymore, gaia should be dead too, the fact that it isnt, might mean there are still things on the planet alive? or maybe that unless you blow up the planet itself, you cant kill gaia?
Also, its interesting to think that alaya and gaias wills are not aligned, since the worlds survival does not necesarily imply humanity´s survival, and (according to darius) the opossite is true as well it seems.

@Rhin from what I recall and know, as long as there is life on the planet, humans or other entities that have "life" Gaia will not die. Compared to Alaya, which is the unconscious will of humanity, as long as there are a lot of humans, Alaya will not die, but since there is only Illya and Gil left, I don't even know if Alaya is still alive with only 1 full human

@daime17 only Miyu's Earth/timeline was destroyed. It's not directly related to Chaldea's timeline.

Darius doesn't seem to intend on invading other timelines (so far as we know), just resetting his current one. The reason for the Miyuverse timeline's destruction was due to the natural course of events that occurred once Pandora's Box failed to open, causing the world to stray too far from Proper Human History.

The Incineration of Humanity that occurred in the Chaldeas timeline was not due to deviations in the natural course of events, but rather specific interference from Goetia.

@Rhin Gaia/the Earth doesn't die even if her "children" (that is, all living beings on it) die. It's in fact a centerpiece of the conflicts between Gaia and Alaya. Gaia hates that her children are becoming more independent, and calls on the other planets to wipe us out whenever she's dying.
