@Starbright while her reasoning with the ban is understandable, the issue is that it comes off as if she's insecure about their relationship more than anything.

This is a common arc in a lot of romance stories where couples try to cut off an aspect of their interests in one another under the justification of getting to know one another on a deeper level. The only thing it does however is just remove one of the (admittedly quirky) dynamics of their relationship. In Wotakoi they try to have a date where they don't talk about otaku stuff at all, and it ends up failing badly. While Kotoka and Tatsu's connection is definitely weird, trying to force something else in is going to cause more problems down the road. It would go a lot more smoothly if they just accepted their fetishes as part of their relationship and just progress as a couple at their own pace.

Yeah sure you got that right Kotoka. They should just break up at this point and never see each. This must be the first time I say that for a couple in manga and I would never expected to say it particularly for this one few chapters ago but this is really getting painful to read.

Both of them are in the wrong imo. Tatsu because when you see his actions it seems clear that the only thing he is interested in are Kotoka's hair and Kotoka for taking the worst decisions while trying to discover if Tatsu is really there only for her hair. Come on all they have to do is speak. Tatsu must say how he feels towards Kotoka and Kotoka shouldn't do things like leaving for days without even telling why she do it. But at this point it should be to late. Just break up then realise in few years your mistakes and shot you in the head I don't really care at this point.
