It even had a decent ending. I'll be recommending this.
Funny how the author aimed for one volume and thought he/she meandered a lot to reach the ending. I never got that feeling reading it. If I had to choose, I would say volume 2 meanders but volume 3 had a strong finish(I found rage sex to hiding in a closet too much of a rollercoaster).
