well at this point we have to embrace this change for Ji Tae. the author decided this and theres no stopping it. I am on the boat that I dont like this abrupt change without the necessary steps to show us to it. thats basic storytelling but its done off screen. Ji Tae being at his breaking point crying to his "girlfriend" about not wanting to fight, Maria Berating him while he's gravely injured and all that on otop of that is NOT ENOUGH. unless they put in a proper flashback to tie up some loose ends, we have this for now. Its up to Maria to reign in Ji Tae's mad dog behavior. hopefully Maria has some sense to stop him from going too insane to the point Ji Tae would indiscriminately target even innocents for looking at him funny.
