What a show, man the past few chapters have been pretty intense. I really liked the contrast they were doing, their friends are out having a good time, while our protagonists are seeking conflict.

@mineo the story is not about them though. It is about jiu ji tae finding his kidnapped sister. They literally serve no purpose to the story other than to make it feel like a slice of life manga.

hahaha from all those chapters with the side characters now when we focus on the MC the author is doubling down on him and making him act like a thug/punk (probaby as a defense mechanism) making us feel uncomfortable who got used to him being the goody-two-shoes underdog from the beginning chapters. I like this direction. dont get me wrong, MC still acts like an asshole and i dont want to pretend I like that. but imma respect it to see how he grows from it. obviously Ji tae wont be acting like a punk 100% of the time soon as he gets humbled more and more in fights...right?

Also I thought he would have to fight this guy at the end of the tunnel but apparently he's in on saving them just to use them huh? and I guess author confirming how the romance is gonna be for the 3 stooges over there too.

I can now see how this growth is mirroring Maria bit by bit. Maria did become like a degenerate punk throughout her fighting career then into school. perhaps while Jitae in his mad dog era, gets hardened in the underground, he'll come back to school like another maria.
