@Treant21 heel hooks are banned in some bjj tournaments because the gracies got their shit pushed in by a school that specialized in heel hooks back in the day and have stigmatized them ever since. also this is mma (I think, I haven't read this in over a year) and I've never heard of an mma org that banned heel hooks
