Hello everyone:

Sorry for the little delay this week. Our TL had to deal with some personal matters so that pushed back our release date a couple of days. Expect another chapter by the end of the week as a way to make up for it and also to keep our pace towards eventually catching up with the raws.

We hope you enjoy the chapter. Thanks again everyone for supporting the series.

I have to admit that I'm starting to lose interest too.
Was interesting at the beginning with MC's story and his relationship with Maria but now, meh...
Then again I was maybe expecting the manhwa to be something it never intended to be

The thing is... not every chapter has to advance the plot just for the sake of advancing the plot. You need background and context for the characters in order to be able to understand their mindset and actions. Otherwise then the complaints would be about the characters being bland or the story not making any sense.

Same thing happened when Young-Woong was introduced, people was "Who's this dude?" "Who cares about him". Then when he fought against Maria the comments were "Oh, that's why he didn't want to help MC" "Oh that's why he was beating up bullies in middle school".

If you just care about the plot moving forward then I suggest waiting for the series to be completed so you can binge read it and not worry about these type of chapters.

And for the people that just want to see the MC... Well, you have Solo Leveling lol.

@gptemp8916 Is almost as if people care more about reaching the destination than enjoying the journey huh?

While I agree that taking the focus off the main character(s) can hurt the manhwa if done excessively, so far the author has delivered by making these backstory chapters matter so I'm sure he's telling the readers this stuff at this particular point of the story for a reason. Every chapter has mattered so far, so what some people might think it's pointless now could end up being the foundation for exciting developments in the long run.

@jachinz Nice! Atleast someone is excited to see more backstory about psycho Maria lol

Thanks again to everyone for your comments and opinions. 😃

P.S. That cameo was dope.

Thank you for the update!

I agree! I like reading chapters about all the characters for this story, especially since there's so many interesting designs and a lot of them appear frequently.

I think it's crazy to have seen some people only want to see the mc and plot plot plot and comment on that frequently each chapter.

Why are people so adamant on MC when literally he is going through the same we have seen evry other protagonist go through( weak to strong, train...). But when we are introduced to world building and actually existing characters who are stronger, more experienced with richer backgrounds that is boring really?

I get the feeling that most of the complainers really like their isekai or some other Chinese garbage (no offense to garbage) where the MC is either already the strongest and the whole "story" is just an excuse to wank him off or he is a weakling that immediately becomes the strongest and the whole "story" is just an excuse to wank him off. Personally I enjoy the stories that aren't fixated on their MCs too much.

@AfroSparrow maybe they aren't sexist and believe in equality no matter what gender you identify as?

Honestly, i felt this chapter was more like a 38.5, just a side chapter for a character. I do want more of the MC's growth as well as world building, but all i really see here is the story or a guy who thought he was a genius chosen by the heavens. People say "you guys just want to see the MC and the same old stuff and don't want any world building" but this guys backstory was probably made up in like 30s "lets give him a better physique than other while growing up. Lets make him gifted and never have to work for anything."
Who would care about a character that had never had to work for anything in their life?
Personally i want a character that starts from the bottom and works their way up, i want that struggle to grow and develop.
