So basically, So-wol would've been in Ji-tae's place as Maria's apprentice/minion if it wasn't for her missing leg. Could explain why she's so interested in him.

Also, I guess now we know why she quit smoking which started the whole bubblegum gimmick.

Mylastchance89, I like the way this has come together. Now we know for definite that the reason for Maria’s request to have this test was so that she could find someone who would help her. Also the fact that cha-sowol wasn’t knocked out says something about how good she is. A worthy 1st place. I just really want to see her vs taeyoung to be honest. I think those two would have a fun match. Taeyoung would lose (she’s a tad bit overrated and overconfident, she outright said that she could beat hamin and gi baram....no, no you couldn’t taeyoung). But it’d be nice to see how far it would go since they really want to fight.

Also and although no one cares, I still think Gi baram is hiding something. 🤣🤣 I don’t trust that nice guy attitude for one second.

Another neat chapter. Maria winning the fight was kind of a given, but it like hor it gives us more context about So-wol's infatuation with Maria. I think she's always keeping an eye on Ji-tae because she's curious to know why was he chosen by Maria when she was rejected.

At least she's being mature about it, unlike Ha-min.

Do I smell a beatdown next chapter? Her two friends fucked up big time lmao.

I think the fight between So-wol and Tae-young will happen at some point. They have teased their dynamic too much for them to not fight eventually. Also, what makes you think Ba-ram is shady? I also think we haven't seen all from him but I really think he's a good dude. @Starstorm1

It comes from the fact that 1) gi baram’s master didn’t stop him because he was about to use his technique in an offensive way, if that was the case He wouldn’t have let gi baram enter the fight class. Gi baram was stopped for a reason and I can’t help but think that there’s something more to him. Either a violent temper or something shady. It just all the characters have been shown to have way more than they appear. Shim hamin is more than just a talented pretty boy, he’s helplessly devoted to the point of self harm. So wol , who begins as a cool badass type turns out to be a masochistic fighting monster who makes people her bitches through “ fights to the death”. Taeyoung who just started out adorably teasing hamin has been shown to be as hard as her fist. And jitae became more than a typical mc, becoming more comedic yet maintaining serious ambition for his goals. It feels like 2hakkk has a thing for subverting expectations and making characters much more than they appear to be. I just wouldn’t be surprised if gi baram turns out to be more than a happy go lucky comic relief guy.
