Wow. These are some very interesting deviations from the story. I don't even mind Lotus being an OC because it made Zephia appear more malicious (doing what she did to Lotus's mother). And that was something that was somewhat missing from the game.
Even the circumstances of Morion becoming the sacrifice is better here I argue. In the game, he gets cocky and underestimates Hyacinth, which leads to his defeat against him. Here he's abducted after being incapacitated from protecting his sons from a possibly fatal attack. The latter makes him look better while keeping him in character.
Thank you for the translation (sweet they drew Zephia using a Levin Sword. God I love the Levin Sword; it's so strong that I'm not surprised it did what it did on page 28).
