Overall, not bad. Starts out as a gag manga, then gradually moves into serious themes and character interactions. Ends with the beginning of Chapter 5 in the game.

The later chapters are quite good, easily better written than the entirety of the Hikari o Tsugumono manga. Every recruitable character from the first generation has their time to shine (and it highlights some of my preferred ships, so that's nice). The gradual transition of tone is handled well, so there's no danger of mood whiplash with the gradually less frequent gags.

Reading this was at first a nice contrast to the other FE4 manga. The comedic tone was enjoyable.

However, it slowly grows more serious gradually and it’s emotional all the same. Despite the later chapters seeming a bit rushed, it’s still a good read.

The art isn’t the best but if you can get past that it’s good.

I’ll admit, the ending got me teary-eyed.

It’s not the greatest manga or anything but it doesn’t need to be. It’s adapting a game and I feel it does it well. It also has some nice moments that make you feel good and sad.
