The lack of pre-loading images is really hurting the usability of MangaDex when it's under ddos. If course the site infrastucture is the opposite; it's less stressed without pre-loading especially under circumstances like this. Although in practice that only matters if people aren't going to read the whole chapter. If they do, it makes no difference for the site, but for the readers waiting tens of seconds for every page is kind of stressful.
