The ending definitely has loose ends, and not knowing if Meiling ever gets to be conscious in the real world really sucks. I feel like even a short epilogue would be enough to somehow reveal what happens after the confrontation with the company is over, but I can't say it's likely to happen (though I jokingly say we'll get a "Fish remastered edition" in a couple years with a more detailed ending lol).
