Damn... ho.
I quite enjoyed this manhwa, sad to see it end, even though it didn't really leave me with questions I wish to see answered

How unfortunate that this ended here, with the end of this chapter hinting that Dam Ho's story is basically just starting—freely choosing what he wants to do after his master is safe and all.

I had also been looking forward to seeing more of that friendlier faction of the demonic cult. I'd been expecting Dam Ho to end up on good terms with at least a few of them, and then that could result in those in the Murim Alliance thinking he was on the side of the "demonic cult" (but of course not understanding that there are different factions in the cult).

well, this series has so much things dragging on..
some of the chapters almost contain nothing of progress.
Not unexpected that this got axed.

Can't believe this got cancelled. Same with it's successor Lee Gwak. The only one that's still active is ROTDM. I think that one will make it to the end which is funny because it's the last of the trilogy.

Tbh, not surprised it got axed. Ever since they added that chef boy, the manhwa turned into some sort of culinary journey. The initial premise of revenge or overcoming challenges got muddied. The MC looks more like a babysitter for someone else's dream. The story may have been fine as is if we look at it from a novel's perspective, but for a manhwa sidetracking too much into uninteresting characters/arcs ruins the story, considering manhwas are so much lower paced than even mangas. 50-60 panel manhwa chapter is equal to like ~8-10 manga pages, so about half of a regular manga chapter.

I agree with most of the criticisms above, but I still loved this series. Dam Ho's use of excessive violence never got old.
