The name Pob Panus is one of the most unattractive names I’ve ever heard. 😭 it sounds as if a toddler couldn’t say SpongeBob SquarePants and instead of saying bob is says pob and instead of pants it says panus. Panus also sounds like a particular male body part… couldn’t we just give her a regular name? I’d rather her be called Karen than that…

I understand that this manga was originally made in I’m assuming Thailand so tawainese or whatever language they speak there. But given that it’s being translated to English it just doesn’t sound right. Kan sounds fine but pob panus………
