Following an Artist not working

When I go to an Artists/Authors Profile I cant follow him/her, the button is just ,,darked,, out. I restarted my PC, logged out and in, opend via different browser (im on Opera GX) but nothing helped.

The feature isn't fully implemented yet.
I didn't even know there was a follow button on authors' profiles
