Ok besides plants dying and there being less oxygen wouldn't there be more problems? Like being cold as fuck hows kids just walking around no problem. Even if the plant humans make enough oxygen what about food? Crops die with no sunlight and animals need plants to live. I guess mushrooms? or something else that doesn't need light?

Why focus on plants for air when plankton makes the most air per capita compared to plants? It's not hard to make a plankton farm, just feed them and keep a UV light on them to make tons of oxygen. Far better than turning people into plants that will just die later.
