I know there was an explanation on the swallow thing last chapter, which I was confused about, but this chapter is even more incomprehensible.

Lots of expressions seem to be idioms from the language (smell money like a ghost?) And what's a vision? Then there's the animal comparisons, but I'm not sure what qualities of the animals are being referred to exactly (and rabbits are not hares). What's an "ordinary person with no children's songs in his pace"? Then there's the odd expression like "break up like this" which I assume means to separate and for him to leave without a fuss. Then "avoid our seats for now"? "Shy away from walking fights"? Then skipping to the end because there's so much "skipping to the deep end".

So yeah, since there's play on words that sound alike (or did I misunderstand and a trait of the swallow is to be a trickster so she's calling him a swallow because of that?) and lots of idioms that are directly translated, it's quite hard to understand what's going on exactly. Well, it does give a vague idea at least.

The official LN translation I follow used “gigolo” instead of “swallow” here (chapter 80). It’s a shame this translation bungled what would have been a hilarious first meeting.
