I mean I understand that she is happy because it is closest to the food/desserts, but you have just shown the entire room that you are not there to be in the background. It just feels like she threw away everything that had just transpired. And I know because it is a manhwa it won't matter for the plot but it still irks me.

Rineh being easily distracted by food was a really big part of the original novel. The manhwa isn't really doing that aspect of her character justice because she usually has a lot of internal monologue about how the food is delicious and how she's always desperate for more delicious sweet things. She will have tea with people she knows hate her because "tea means snacks!!" and it never really clicks to her that she could just ask the maids to get her snacks.
